What if Z28 or new Corvette are prettier?!
Hello guys and gals,
Be me being a member of this forum, you all should know that I’m crazy about muscle cars especially GM production. I had a 2005 Pontiac GTO and my brother had TWO modified corvette Zo6 that I use to drive all the time . Since I heard about the Comaro, I’m dreaming of it every day. Now, approaching the year end, with a bonus in-hand I believe I will be able to buy the Camaro I always dreamed of. The problem is that I’m having cold feet because I’m thinking what if; • The new Z28 comes out MUCH better than the current Camaro. • The new corvette comes out MUCH better than the Camaro. Note that both cars should be released within 1.5 to 2 years. Dear Camaro owners, please tell me what you think??!! Thanks in advance |

can you really compare a corvette to a camaro though? plus I highly doubt the re-sale value of these things is going to plummet so you should be fine trading it in in 2 years or so.

Trade in all the way or sell it privately and drop a huge down payment.

Enoy it now. Eventually something newer and better will come out. That's how things work.
Would you not buy a computer, knowing in 10 years it will be 1/100th the speed of new ones? |

It is hard to compare the current Camaro to a Camaro version that has not been announced and another car that doesn't even exist.
You can wait if you want, but for how long and for what? That's all guess and speculation, when you could just be driving in a sweet SS right now.

There will always be something better to come, but that should'nt stop you from getting something you like now. Even if an improved model comes out next year, as long as you are happy with what you have, why let it bother you? Many people are still happy with their C5 vettes even though the C6 is basically better in every way. The same applies to the Camaro.

Just at 5000kms and I have become attached to mine. I sacrificed alot to slap 20k down on mine. Stuff Ill never get back. I love mine and it has been 100% trouble free. Id rather do mine than trade up for a newer model.
