Atleast 12-15 month's away and I think it could be a supercharged V-6,don't get your hopes up that it will have over 400hp, remember in the 60's no Z-28 beat the SS-396, atleast not in Central Illinois.I think the Z-28 will be more designed to be a road course racer, the sport is really growing. Also Mustang will soon be producing a Boss 302.
They don't have the pricing on the convertibles yet and their supposed to start production in JANUARY??
My opinion.

hmmmm so we go with a v-6 and the competition remains with a v-8. . .doesn't make sense. . . that's pretty left field. but if you're right you're right. we will see. I'm sure you're pretty wrong though.

and which ss396? not all of them are equal.

Then why are the spy pics of it showing a SC V8 with over 550 HP?

Not that I want anything less than that sticker suggests, but it could be misleading...

Perhaps GM will hire Chuck Norris to be the Z28 spokesman

Tim Allen won't cut on Z28, lol. I could definately imagine some Chuck Norris facts on a magazine add, lol.

Yes, you are right, the 2012 models. Pricing, colors and options should be released next summer for the 2012 models. Hopefully the Z/28 will be in this announcement. Thanks for catching that for me.

How do you tell looking at a spy picture that the engine is supercharged and 550hp??
The only thing anyone has stated with GM that I have read, is that they're not done with the Camaro yet.
I also see alot of 2010 & 2011Camaro's sitting around the dealerships, definitely didn't see that a year ago!
Also GM is coming out with a new turbo charged 4cyl GS Buick and in the early 70's it was a 455ci.
Only my opinion.

Because one of the pictures also show the label saying so?

EDIT: Also did you even go to that thread I linked? The title of the thread even says "6.2L supercharged V8 SPOTTED AND CONFIRMED!!!"
