How do I find out the day my Camaro was produced? I know it was in July 09.

I remember seeing something on another thread that said there is a bar-code under the rear of the car that has the date and time it was produced.

Hey Sean,

Did you save all your paperwork that was in the car when it was delivered? The date will be on the Chassis Mainline Rider document...Top right corner above the VIN.

Your dealer can printout a copy of your build sheet. It has all the time lines on it.

If you look under the hood on the front crossmember (right side) there is a white sticker with a large bar code- it has the day and time that assy was on the line, and usually corresponds to the day.

This is when the frame was built............not the final date the car was completed. Mine is dated 3-13 so it was built before production officially started?

The sticker on the upper rt "unibody" (not frame) rail is on top of the body paint color, so it can't be when the unibody was built. I think it's when the car actually started down the line. My vin #32351 says: 7:57 AM 8/3-.
My car was out the door on 8/4 and on the train 8/5.

Your build sheet will have all the info you need. This is usually located in the trunk, as long as your dealer hasn't thrown it out.
