I just use the manual seat adjuster thingy (thats a technical term) for the passenger seat to hold mine. Works with no mods needed!

OP, you could probably take your cardboard template and apply its construction to kydex, then bake and mold to form the gun. I've seen some tutorials online, and many of my fellow shooters build their own kydex gear at home. I imagine it'll take some effort, but you could have your own kydex center console holster.

I'm betting a belt-clipped Kydex holster could work too. Drill a couple holes in the clip and do the zip-tie thing.
