I wonder what would happen if Chevy put a square setup on the ZL1. I bet it would make up some time between the Z/28 and it. I know it helps the M3 gain a couple seconds on a track...

its pretty damn dear square already...... the small difference in size wouldn't be too noticeable.

Well I have read thru this whole thread and agree with alot of you guys on all levels. For one Im glad the Z/28 is back wasn't expecting it this soon...... kind of surprised its being placed over the ZL-1 but ehh what ever. Over all I like the look somethings will take a little time to get use to but Im sure will grow on most people. The one thing I do know is I am already starting a stash of $$$$ to get those seats for my Zl-1 those are a must in my opinion . Only if I could figure away to afford to have the Z/28 to park next to my ZL-1!

For those looking for an auto option, we will be putting RPM 4L80's in these.

This car is a weekend warrior, a summer night cruiser and a track car. This car is for the person who already has a daily driver and doesn't give a rats arse about the taillights or lack of a sound system. When they've done the rush hour commute and want to return to the pure pleasure of driving they pull this baby out of the garage and smile a self satisfied smile as they fire it up. If you want to think you have the baddest Camaro out there but can only afford one, get the ZL1, want a daily driver you can track, there's the 1LE. Concerned about looks, buy a big standard V8 model and customize to your hearts content. Just want to own a great looking car, consider the V6. Really GM has everyone finally covered and there's still bitching?!?!
You are right. My only WISH is to have the LS7 that's in the Z28, an option to have in an SS along with the 1LE option. Having an option like that would make a lot of people change brands.

love the seats, love the front end with the splitter but those tail lights are hideous. Nothing like the 10-13 when you're pulling up behind it and chin drops kids get excited when they see it. I would pass that up--"...oh a Honda shaped like a Camaro!" *snooze*

everything else on the car is a step in the right direction. Seems like Chevy is going with this similar tail lamp design on most of their lineup. Gosh they look awful, this really made me love my car even more. lol

cars are like women, some are old, some are new, some get turned on easily some need a lot more help, some you just wanna drive into the river, some you can't wait to get inside of, some are expensive to maintain, some are low maintenance, however if you treat them right, you'll have her for the rest of your life.....

I don't quite agree. The ZL1 is a Hot Rod, the Z28 is a road race car. Dont expect the ZL1 to go down in value , they are two different animals. A ZL can be an easy car in the city, the 28 will make you pay dearly for daily driving.

Congrats on the new Camaro...everything looks like they had the enthusiast in mind. The true comparison will be at a track near you....www.hookedondriving.com. Lots of Boss 302's to play with. Can't wait to see a few of the new Camaro's on track.

A simple mod like tinting the middle part or darker chrome can change dramatically the rear :

Wow nicely done GM.. but i'm keeping my 2013 ZL1!! All i got to say is I always admired camaros from 67-71 and I'm so glad I got on board as I had a feeling that 2013 might be the final year before GM makes a drastic revision to the body style. In my opinion the 2013 resembled the perfect resurrection of the 69 Camaro from front to back.

I'm just not digging the 1990'ish looking rear tail lamp shape on the 2014..its like a bad mash up between a 69 camaro and a 1990's camaro. However; I do like the refreshed front fascia is okay but it doesn't really pop for me.. (No HIDs))???

well that's all i've got to say about it...
