Thumbs up *UPDATED 2010 2SS/RS 530HP For Sale $20K

I recently purchased a 2016 Dodge Charger RT as my family/daily driver and looking to move forward in life with my lady. With that being said, I have decided to list the SS for sale.

The car is in awesome condition. The interior is flawless other than a nick on passenger side leg jam from previous owner (not obvious). Non-smoker. Leather looks new. Garage kept. The motor is currently being freshened up at a performance shop, so the heart will be brand new when she's rolling again.

I have several thousands of dollars in this car and only have the highest quality of parts and still selling less than any dealer asking price. I do not have any recent pictures of the car that shows the car lowered, but I'll post a couple of the car after I swapped to slotted/drilled rotors. FYI, the car paint stripes are graphite, not black. Side and rear windows are tinted.

The car ran 12.08 in the 1/4 with exhaust only. Since then, it has been cammed/modded further. If someone wants to know the cammed/other mods time, I will be happy to video and provide slips once the motor is back in the car. I estimate an 11.5 on the 1/4- car is a M6.

Car gets 24MPG at 72mph on highway. City varies from 16-18mpg depending on lights. Custom cam specs eliminated bucking/surge at lower RPMS- drives like stock.

GLWS, but curious as to how you like the ACT clutch? From a daily driver rating to a track rating? Can you slip it out of the hole still or is it too aggressive? What flywheel weight did you go with?

Been thinking about getting the ACT also

Well, I've thought about parting out some of the car, and my clutch is one piece that I can sell.

I posted it here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=470212

I didn't get to drive it 1K miles, nor did I get to track it, but the break-in miles and extra 400 miles of DD with it, I LOVED it. So smooth. I went twin streets so there is a little forgiveness when slipping so it won't hang on you and stall. Once you break that window though it grabs and won't let loose until you press the clutch. I got the 1000ft lbs spec and the pedal feel is barely stiffer than stock. The initial push is a tad stiffer. I didn't think twin disc would help shift feel at all but I was wrong. Even with my 46% reduction shifter, it was smoother than ever. I had mine balanced and mated with ACT lightweight flywheel. Could definitely tell a differences when clutched/N and give it a rev- rpms climbed faster.

My brother has triple disc Mantic and I get the ACT EVERY single time. Second to none.

I agree, especially with freshening the motor up. Lol.

I have no doubt someone would be smiling ear to ear when they hear it or press the gas.

Price drop. I need this car sold as soon as engine shop is done freshening the motor up.

Did I miss the mileage on the car? What is all getting re-done in the motor?

I haven't looked at the odometer in around 4 months as the car has been sitting at a performance shop waiting on me to decide what I wanted to do with the car, but I believe the body has 84,xxx- which is mostly from 75 miles a day for work on the interstate.

The motor will basically be brand new when I get it back. I had a bearing to start going out so it will be pressurized and hot boxed to be cleaned thoroughly. From there, the builder is replacing all bearings and bolts. All gaskets will be replaced. All moving parts, including cam/valvetrain, are being mic'd to make sure all tolerances are correct. The heads are being cleaned and inspected as well.

I'm not saving a penny with this work. If my names on it, it's going to be done right. I label it as freshen up, but it's more of a rebuild. Stock compression ratio will be the end result UNLESS a serious inquirer puts money down on the car, and I will have them match whatever CR you want. The builder has an in-house dyno and it will be dynoed on the stand before it ever leaves the shop with all the paperwork with it.

The car has absolutely no issues with any parts other than the motor- which is being corrected. I'm losing my a$$ off on this sale and I GUARANTEE whomever purchases this car will not stop smiling. I hate to see it go but I cant afford both payments and prepare for a family with the SS.

Any other questions, feel free to ask. I will be straightforward about any of it.

The car has a brand new OEM AC Delco battery with the highest month warranty. 48 I think? I just replaced the entire AC system before the car went down for engine repairs as well. SUPER cold AC.

nice car... solid mods... Those cutouts hang pretty low huh? Any issues going over speed bumps? My headers would drag sometimes before I sold mine and that was with only a 1 inch drop

At first, I thought I was going to have clearance issues. I tested it in my driveway where there is an elevation change worse than a speed bump. I saw that it would scrape and went and made the solution: I put the stock tunnel brace back in with a little header wrap around that section of pipe that would be over it and added a few washer to clear better. I also undid the band clamps and rolled the cutouts up and out so they actually are tucked up under the car and the blow-downs redirect the exhaust. No scrapes thereafter. I'm sure if you have an extreme elevation change, it's a possibility.

I do currently have the stock springs if anyone wants them that purchases the car.
