I don't post on here much, more of a reader. I don't think I make the fast list but with my 2013 ls M6 I got a 14.25. I can grab my full timeslip to fill out everything when I get home. This was with the factory tires and only a k&n intake and trifecta tune that wasn't even dialed in.

Is it strange that the LLT has all the top spots in the "bolt ons" category? I know the LFX can't accept headers by design, but aside from that it's supposed to have more HP out of the box, but why no LFX fast times in the "bolt ons" category?

Debating picking up a v6 to play with, trying to decide between a used LLT car, or wait for a new 2014?

It's certainly not for lack of trying, that's for sure.

The list seems to suggest a mid-high 13 is possible without a tune and even without DRs/skinnies. Not sure what kind of rocket fuel they were using to do it but I want some.

In the nearly 70 runs I've made in the last year, I haven't done better than a 2.11 60' and a 14.11 1/4 and those two weren't in the same run either. My average 60' in all those runs is 2.25 but lately it's been solid in the 2.1 range. I give the tires a good spin cycle (couple seconds) but not enough to really smoke them and I try to leave at 1k rpm else I tend to slip. I guess I could try cooking the tires better and/or launching at a higher rpm but with the brakes held I can't go any higher than about 1275 anyway.

Alright I'll quit crying now.

I am guessing the DA is what is killing your time. Along with track prep? for the 60'

LFX is more tune friendly in my opinion. Love the option of being able to add full length headers to the LLT, but the LFX has more power out of the bag, and adding high flow cats will get your 3/4 of the power LTs would.

Love my LLT, but my hat would have to tip in favor of the LFX. Intake, tune, cats, and exhaust on the LFX should net a solid 35 to 40 or better HP increase. Your looking at over 360 crank HP. Find a used 12 or 13 maybe?

LLT can get you around there, but you'd need more bolt ons, plus the LFX may be more reliable, but not sure about that yet.

Curious to know what your DA is?? I would put money on an LFX car with your mods (and a tune) being able to run well into the 13s in good air and a decent 60 foot.

Now that I have some new goodies I'm ready to hit the track again. Too bad my "goodies" are for auto-x and not 1/4 mi, haha

I know what you mean, that's what my build has been focused around since day one. Unfortunately I was never really able to autocross until recently, and boy is it WAY more fun than the 1/4.

Yeah... warm & sticky... which makes me all that more happy with the times. Better than I though it would do.

Hey, I found this website: the calculations seem fairly reasonable. I went with the more conservative number of 275 hp as determined by weight and ET (I only used curb weight).

http://www.wallaceracing.com/et-hp-mph.php

Edit: I used BMoreCam's 13.6 time and the curb weight of 3750 and the estimated HP was 290, which is what he has on the dyno thread. Pretty damn good!
