It's a public camaro forum not a public general car forum. You post your opinion you get mostly camaro loving peoples opinions, that's the Internet. If our posts are clean and not harmful then so be it. He gave his opinion we give ours, pretty simple.

A lot of us ordered our cars on "pure faith" alone, without ever having seen them in person, sat in them, or test driven them... IMHO, I am not disappointed, however, that being said, I would not be driving my car in the situations that you are looking to drive yours... I respect your opinion, everyone is entitled...I wish you all the best in selling your Camaro and getting another car that suits you better... And I don't think anyone needs to flame the OP...he was giving his own opinion...he is entitled to feel the way he does...

I thought this was a joke thread making fun of mine haha. I am experiencing all the same things you are. Really cant get a feel for the car on a 5 minute test drive, should have rented one first. The weight and the suspension bother me too, most the times it feels like I am navigating a boat around corners. Steering is far from tight and body roll is awful taking a corner at anything other than pretty slow. I dont know how MT managed to run it so fast a Laguna Seca but I am willing to bet it had some kind of upgraded suspension or track tune. Let me know what you decide to get. Think I have decided on the G37 coupe. If you like the 350/370Z, look at the Infiniti too. Good luck.

Big difference between being a fan of a car but still seeing things objectively and being a blinded Camaro fanboy who thinks not loving everything about it is wrong. Thats the main problem with this site, WAY too many fanboys

just looked up the 370Z and a 29k base is pretty good but if your expecting more power then your sol, unless you buy the nismo 370 with 350hp, which starts a 39k
idk if there are anymore 400hp cars that start at 31 k idk coolest camaro do what you want,

Sports Car of the 21st Century? Seriously, I never heard the new Camaro referred to as this, but obviously you heard it somewhere. Sorry to hear that you are disappointed with it. How long have you had it and how many miles on it?
I don't think the Camaro has ever been a "sports car" but the 2010 IMO has kept with the heritage and history of the Camaro. It has dead sexy looks and among its intended competition (Mustang and Challenger) it has done extremely well. Could the handling be better, yes but I suspect that you'll see improvements in the coming year or two. I absolutely love my 2SS/RS M6 and it is exactly what I expected, a Camaro. I order sight unseen (Nov 2008), hadn't even sat in one. For the first model year I think GM has done an amazing job on this car.

I agree but it is what it is, this site isn't overrun with fanboys, maybe a fine line with loyal enthusiest and fanboys but still a difference. I love my 2010 but I didn't say it was perfect or best car on road. But it didn't disapoint me either.

Its not all about HP if you want a fast car. I can think of several with about 100 less HP that will match or even beat the performance times of the SS.

I think, based on sales, there's clearly a large group of buyers who simply bought this Camaro because it looked great, has a ton of excellent technology and have never wanted to drive a "sports car" with intentions of taking it out and trying to do road rallys or 1/4 mile drag racing-like driving. Best of luck finding your "excitement" in another car. I definitely found mine...
