Chevy MyLink

Does anyone know when or if Chevy MyLink will be available in the Camaro?
I read an article on CNN this morning stating GM plans to install the feature in all of it's cars.

It works on the 2011's, if I am correct, they've said the '10s will work soon, but that was months ago...

The official stance is mylink is not supported on 2010 models. Person did not say never, but it is not in the works and no plans for it. I found out the hard way after I was mislead and renewed my service.

I was told by the On-Star CSR at Dec 2010 renewal that 2010 Camaro would be supported, possibly by March 2011 timeframe. I was assured 2010 Camaro will be supported. I renewed. I called back around April and wanted to know status. I asked if the CSR could re-confirm based on my previous call and concerns since I renewed based on the 2010 Camaro support.

After awhile on hold, the CSR confirmed... not supported and no plans to support. Apologized for the misinformation and gave me service month credits. I don't use the telephone service, directions, anything except for the theft tracking feature. Mylink would be a plaything at since I have an LS3.

I was trying to be optimistic after reading the potential ECM/BCM compatibility thread.

On-Star will lose another customer after service expires.

I hope all Chevy/GM models have it by 2013, backwardly compatible would be nice...
