MARTIN - welcome, and yes, I think we would all agree that CT is part of New England, and we don't understand why it is with the PA, NJ, and NY guys. Be sure to check out the thread for the autocross event and the NE Dragway days.

As stated earlier, my plan is for my Camaro to be my Daily Drive, All year round!!
(If it handles as good and my old 76 ElCamino in the snow I should be good)
Just ordered my Snow Tires and Rims from Tire Rack:
  • 19x8.5 Sport Edition ST3 Bright Silver
  • 245/50R-19 Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow
  • 315MHz Tire Pressure Sensor
Should be here in a couple of days... I will wait to install until the end of Oct or beginning of Nov to install.

Welcome Kimmer322 (Kim)! If you have nothing else to do this weekend, come out and meet the rest of us NEC5 folks at Deven (in Ayer - really close to you) for an Autocross / Car Show / Meet and Greet! The thread is
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=102579
We'll meet up outside of the event and drive it together. It will be a lot of fun!

Bob from Leominster here. I'm also a little late joining this New England members group. I've been a camaro5 member since I bought my Aqua Blue Metallic 2SS/RS on 12/24/2009. Yes, Merry Christmas to me because I received one of the last ABM Camaro's.

I've added a Borla S Axle back exhaust and a CAI intake. I'll be adding an RX Products Catch Can this weekend.

Hope to meet up with all of you at one of the local meet and greets! Although we're getting close to garage time for "The Shark", so time is running out fast!

My license plate is SSHARK and the Berlin police just recently asked me to add the front plate to the car. Just a warning though, no ticket! I was told I had "over the weekend" to add the plate or get a ticket the following week. He was quick to mention that the car is very nice and that he'd been waiting for me to add the front plate. He said that I wouldn't want to be driving around with only one plate after having a couple beers some night and run into more trouble than just the missing front plate. So although I had to add the plate, the officer was cool about it.

Bob

I'd stay out of Berlin!!! I've had the same plate for over 20 years.....with the green lettering, so I only need the one rear plate. They're trying to phase those plates out, but as long as it's readable, they can't take it away. Hopefully I'll have that plate as long as I have the Camaro.

To hell with them I'd take the ticket. Plate can sit on the dash.

I have to drive through Berlin daily so it just wasn't worth the hassle. I used the toggle bolt method of mounting the license plate holder so no holes needed to be drilled. This method seems to be pretty secure.
