Yes, there is a bolt kit you will need. A 1LE owner did this on his he got the splitter and a bolt/mounting kit from the dealer and they installed it for him when he purchased the car. Looks bad ass too!

OK, I just installed the part # 23172755 Z/28 Rear Differential. The GM Engineer I spoke with at PRI was correct. I have confirmed that the 1LE half shafts will work with the Z/28 Differential. So....the Z/28 half shafts are not required to install the Z/28 Diff in a 1LE.

I just ordered one. Did it come pre-filled or did you need to add the gear oil?

Sorry for the delayed response haven't been here for awhile.

Mine had gear oil in it. I topped it off. If I remember correctly it took maybe 8 ounces, at the most.

I have a 2014 ZL1 ... Was thinking about getting z28 front fender flares to help with rock chips on the rear 1/4... Are they a direct bolt on item?

Been looking online for install threads but haven't found anything yet... Thanks
