Quick question:
1 will the 5th z28 wheels fit the 6th gen SS?
I take from the part # posted
That they come in two. Front set and rear set ??
Front - 22873225 - (19x11 11mm os) (GM says the shipping weight is 25.88 pounds) - $795.00 (R)
Rear - 22873227 - (19x11.5 26mm os) (GM says the shipping weight is 26.32 pounds) - $795.00 (R)
Weights may or may not be correct.
And what would the off set be on front and rear ?

Those prices are per wheel. You are looking at nearly $3200 for a new from GM set of authentic Z/28 wheels. You would be better off buying the replica wheels. The bolt pattern is the same, there have been pics of 6th gen wheels on 5th gens. Weights are correct, and the offset is already in the text you put in your question.

I see that the part numbers are taken from the 2014 Camaro catalogue.
Is every part required for our Z28s',not unique to the Z 28. I appreciate there are hundreds of parts that cross refer to other 2014 Camaros',but are part numbers shared.
Does this question,make sense?
Thanks everyone,it's great to have such knowledgeable help.
First sorry to see this, but the car (from the oops thread) is fixable.

More good news as X25 confirmed is the sheet metal and body panels are not unique to the Z/28. (Front fender, Hood, Front fascia, bumper support, core support etc.)

The unique Z/28 parts include the front splitter (spoiler, can be ordered), the grille (readily available), and the fender flare (can also be ordered).

If you do not have a part source, you can try Maureen @ Rodgers Chevrolet in Michigan, USA. She is very helpful to many members here and may be able to ship to you? She just ordered many of the Z/28 parts you need for a friend and his car is in the body shop as we speak.

Good luck!

Thank you for the quick reply. Was trying to aim something in the 19" since you have a better tire selection.
Not too sure if 18" would even clear and if this would be an issue once u upgrade the front brakes to a 6 piston caliper along with the large rotors.

MRR Wheels is going to be coming out with flow forged 19" z28 replicas, supposed to be as strong as stock. They were delayed, but keep an eye on this thread (I'm waiting for them as well): http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=433182

I don't think they are as strong as stock. As far as I know, the stock Z/28 wheels are forged, not a cast wheel spoke with a spin-forged barrel.

"As Strong" is subjective. But I would not hesitate to run a set of 19s on my Z/28 for street duty.

Probably not, they are kind of advertising as such, but we shall see

Contemplating selling my new Z28 multimatic Struts, shocks and springs that are assembled and the rears have the upper mount as well. These are new not used and not takeoffs either. Asking $2100 if anyone is interested in needing a seconded set or looking to build a copy.

So,I've had an engineer look at my car,on behalf of the insurance company and we are debating the merits of a well battered, rear quarter panel.
It sounds plausible that,if at all possible it is in the best interests, for the integral strength of the chassis, to 'panel beat' rather than 'replace'!
Can any one please tell me the cost of a new rear quarter panel, for the sake of price comparison, against repair.
Many thanks folks.
My engineer is putting a guesstimate of £22,000,for repair

The panel is still likely $650ish, so shipping and install, paint, should IMO be nothing over £8-10,000, and I am going on high end as whoever does the work may not be familiar with this type of car.
.
If that £22,000 is a total repair bill, then I would say, YES, that is a fair estimate.

Any pics of the quarter panel? There are skilled panel workers out there. Depending on how bad it is, maybe its an option.

Tbh 'zslash',I want to keep this car with its balls on,not bondo,so I shall be insisting on a new panel,if the strength of the car isn't compromised,by panel replacement.
