Sweeeeeet!

But you know this thread is all about our enjoyment of all things automotive, including Cadillacs, Sonics and whatever else comes to mind. But the SPIRIT will always be Z-related.

Out of curiosity, did the ABL ever get finished across the whole dash? I remember everyone pissed off about it and saying they wouldn't buy the car but I don't remember hearing if it was ever done.

I believe it is still doors only. Seems to have died down lately.

Nope, just another example of a Camaro5 freakout that nobody cares about anymore.

I still care about the issue, however, there's what looks like a relatively easy fix that's pretty affordable. I don't have a problem with a little tinkering

Haha this what I thought, but I was just thinking about it the other day and how pissed people got. The one thing I wish we did have was the gas cap location on the top of the driver side rear fender.

That would've lead to a ton of paint issues from gas dripping all over the fender.

Saw a GM ad today it mentioned the LS3 in the GS Vette is handbuilt. How much would that add to the price, and what is the benefit?

It's for the manual trans and it's done to get the dry sump oiling similar to the LS7.
