Exhaust Line-Up Thursday night at Host Hotel.... with the Meet and Greet...

Some members thought it could be beneficial to have an exhaust sample for anyone who might be thinking about an exhaust system and wants to hear a few.

We always have the YouTube samples but they NEVER are a good and true example of what it really sounds like.

So, if you are looking, might consider, or are just curious about how different systems sound we will have our our volunteer cars set up in a designated area immediately upon return from the cruise and they will all be clearly marked for you to sample. The participants are volunteering to park for a while and hang out a bit to start and rev their engines a little so you can get an idea of the different options.

Or, just have fun and hang and hear how different and yet how similar and BEAUTIFUL these cars can sound.

Not sure where in the parking lot yet. I'll block off an area during the cruise. V6, SS and even stock ZL1 will be there. Cammed, cats, not cats, custom front to back and more. We have almost 50 different set-ups, almost no two exactly the same.

I'm sure there will also be some spontaneous volunteers as well.

C5Fest is the best place to see AND HEAR it all.

Keep in mind that the hotels have other guests as well. So if it gets out of hand or too loud we may be asked to bring it to an end. No biggie, we will still have the whole fest to get our ears on.

Thanks to GMteSSted for the work and expense he had put into this.

Here is the line-up as of yesterday evening. (if you didn't get in as a volunteer, no biggie, the line-up is in the same lot as the rest of us. Just turn your key and pound on it.

I will be there to hang out around 9-10pm, I have a cam, headers, stock H pipe with flowmasters 1 chambers dumped at the rear. I would join in this if it's not to late.

I haven't heard rear dumps in person yet. Mine dump straight out the headers. I think I lose some low end torque. But it sure sounds mean as hell.
