Sounds simple. How much did you pay. Ridergraphics wants $30.00 for them. thats pretty expensive

Dont paint them. Just do like everyone else is suggesting. by whatever tape color you want, place it over the bowtie and cut it out using a razor blade. It is super simple and cheap.
I bought some red tape and carbon fiber tape. Tried both and decided to stay with carbon fiber.

Paint it with Krylon Fusion semi flat. It will turn out great and last a long time. Ive done all my Chevy's the same way.

Okay, please be gentle, I'm a lady and I've never done this before. I bought the ryder graphixs bowtie blackouts and the back one went on great, the front one was a nightmare and I ended up pulling it off and throwing it away.
I've got some new vinyl and plan to cut it larger than the bowtie and try again. My question is did you guys find you needed to heat it up at all or get it wet (as others have mentioned) to get it to form to the bowtie? |

Getting cyber metallic gray. What color bowtie would look best black, gray, or silver? Interior will be gray with black trim.

Thats sick. Did you just buy carbon fiber or did you have to mix and match?

I'm gonna do the same; with CF. A roll with way more than you need and adhesive backing $7.99 Auto Zone in the ricer section. Just be quick in that aisle, no one will notice.
