Last night there was a tornado warning
I was watching a replay of the heat game...weather alert came on... a tornadic thunderstorm was about 20 minutes from me.
I live on 34th and coulter in amarillo texas. The storm was said to be headed to i40 and coulter... about a mile from me with baseball size hail and high winds. I got the chick, the camaro keys and hauled ass, went about 90 down the interstate, there were several other people taking the same route. About 3 miles down the road it was reported there was a tornado at 45th and soncy, less than a mile from my apartment. I returned home 2 hours later, my car barely saw any sprinkles... but there was hail everywhere and leaves also. |

We had a tornado last night also, just a few miles south and another that the funnel cloud passed right over my apartment and touched down like 3 miles away.
