Not if it was subtle though.. The entire panel lit up softly would look better than a bright line..

Very cool!!! Can't wait to see/read the final install details. That would be so awesome to have the ABL all across the dash!!

Dude! THIS is what I was hoping for!

I sure hope that after you got it all figured out, that you come back and do a full write up with pix and all of how you got it done. I CAN NOT WAIT and will end up doing this to mine too!

VERY GOOD WORK!!!

This is going to be epic! How much would you charge for something like this just out of curiousity

Although it sounds good to make some money off this, I will not be producing or selling the kits to do this. I am doing this for fun and nothing more.

However I will get a complete list of components and installation instructions so you can do as a DIY mod.

As far as cost it will be between $50-$100 for the lighting, inverter, and other minor supplies.

It's 12v. If you turn the dimmer switch down, the lowest reading I got was 1.9v. If you want to use the pre-wired power, I'm pretty sure you will need to use the 12v EL's.

I was thinking of actually toying with 3V EL's and a resistor in series as a voltage drop, current on EL's isnt high so heat wouldn't (or shouldnt) be an issue.

What did they use in the doors? Would it be the same as the footwell lighting kit?

Don't have my camaro yet to play around with this.
