Sorry to hear. We really need another driving exam maybe every 5 years or so. Imagine how much safer and civil people would be while driving. Are they replacing the 1/4 panel? Also look into diminished value before you settle your insurance claim. Hopefully that will help even out the sale price if you sell her.

Where’s Ibis? Maybe you can get him to “ruin” this woman for you.

Changed her oil, drained the catch can, and cleaned the MAF. Boring but important.

Estimator wouldn't allow for quarter replacement but gave go ahead for 10 hours to repair. Quarter panel is ok just needs minor repair and paint. Canada doesn't have deminished value so we get screwed. As for retesting, I think after a certain age that may be beneficial

Vinyl Graphics

Got this mod idea from a forum member in the adding on ZL1 Rocker threads. His was the "SS" version but i liked the look so much thought I would design up my own "RS" vinyl graphics and try them out. Liking the ghosted look.

Finally installed my CTSV calipers, ZL1 rotors and stainless lines.

I decided not to paint / powder coat the calipers - I like them silver. Hate the red calipers.

Will pull or replace the rear calipers to get rid of the red mismatch.

Michelin PS4's installed all around. Too early (and wet and cold) to give proper feedback. They're certainly quieter and smoother, so we'll see how they are next spring I suppose If they're close to the grip levels of the Goodyears and last longer, I'll call it a win.

Nice. I've been enjoying mine for a good bit now. They are surprisingly good in the rain. Never wanted to track them, but I went as a guest to H2R last week - ran 2 sessions of 5 or so hot laps at a time (brakes were not up to task, so I was being careful). The MPS4s did better than expected for that short duration. Cold pressures were 31, didn't check hot (was more worried about brakes). Front grip was tough to find but that is likely more about my setup, and to some degree, driver.

Cold, the MPS4 grip better than the GY G2. The G:2 at it's best/warmed up had more max grip. I can't back that up with any data, just what it felt like. The G:2 also had better turn in, a more crisp feel.

IMO, the MP4S is a better street tire overall, and no slouch. I'm waiting for my 19x11 track wheels (forgestar CF-5) to be made so I can keep the street heat cycles off my track tires and vice versa.

That's what I assumed would be the case. I love tracking the car, and will probably feel a bit let down in that particular area, but have to remember than about 99% of this cars life is spent on the street, so some give / take is required.

Tonight I drove 168 mph.
I tried to find out if the dynosteve did not forget to turn off the speed limiter.
He did not forget

Of course it would go even more. But there was no place.

Ordered some more parts. This weekend I have a clutch and related components upgrade install as well as cradle bushings, toe rods and trailing arms. I'm glad it's a 3-day weekend!
