Quick Vararam question

I'm in the market for a cold air intake and Vararam is at the top of my list. however, the product info said that it does not fit 2012 and new model year cars! i wanted to know why that is, and if it is possible to get it to fit?

The big thing is that the radiator cap is in a different location than on the 10 and 11. No way to fix that unless you go with an aftermarket radiator

Sucks because the VR OTR intake is really good.

Give them some time... they were late to the dance with the 2010 model too, but it turned out to be a great product. If you really want the Vararam... wait for it, I'm sure it's coming.

Jacfab or Rotofab if you ask me, I'm not a fan of the metal tubing, I don't care how much thermal coating and tape you use it will still heat soak more than a plastic one IMHO.

Lets not forget that intake that was just as good, if not better than the CAI in the test. Halltech baby.

Did VR scrap their 2012+ CAI design? I know they made one that was in the OEM location but i've yet to hear of anyone running one.

Yeah, Halltech seems to be the forgotten red headed step child of the bunch even though it performs very well. One of my top 3 favs.

rotofab, cai inc, adm race, and the good halltech are your best bet for your model year...pretty sure vararam isnt going to make a over the radiator one for new models...they released a standard one that i know of nobody who bought.

if you choose the first four i mention get the scoop and washer bottle relocate kit to take them to another level. i think the adm race version comes with these standard.
