mws, that sand is no fun, makes for some dangerous race conditions.
Hopefully they will clean up the track for your next outing.

The sand was no fun Best run was as follows:
ET 13.495
speed: 111.55
60 ft 2.29

Traction control was on and a lot of feathering to control spin.
Had to keep out of the throtle til about 4800 rpms in both first and second third was a little better.
If I can get some hook, I think I can get into the low 12's here pretty easily.
Some of the other guys took pictures I will post up when I get them.

How much are they with the pillar?

Good news One of the locals is going to help me figure this thing out. Maybe I can get the hang of this drag racing thing.

Mmm.... Looks like I'm going to skip the C5Fest...

Did the taxes over the weekend.. Got to pay a few thousand $$$ to Uncle Sam.
Auto Body shop will also be a few $$$$ as well. Both are due real soon...

After the $$$ on the new trailer, there isn't much left in the ol' bank account right now, and I still need another set of tires and rims (Race set) for track use.

Right now I can't afford the tolls and GAS for the 2500 mile round trip to GA for the truck.. would be at least a grand to tow the car to there. It would also chew into 4 days minimum driving down and back for the one day event.. so I am out....

Hey guys, I couldn't wait any longer and got the car out today after a long winter of looking at the supercharger in my garage. I have to say, I am super happy with the car!!
I did some test driving, and could not believe how fast it was reving up to the rev limiter. I'm going to get used to faster shifting now.
I sure love the whine sound.
I left the traction controll on for the first day. I'll take it off next time.
Thanks to all of you guys in this thread for giving me all of the information to make the Lingenfelter decision easy for me.
And thanks to all of the guys and girls at Lingenfelter for a job well done.
I hope to have my Iconz wheels next week for a little more traction.
It's like getting a whole new car again!!

Stratman, Glad to hear you finally got some bonding time!

Last time I drove my car was early november last year. I have changed so much of the car, it's going to be like a different vehicle!

Sorry to hear you won't be there, but understand the $$$. I'm almost afraid to find out how my taxes will come out. Can't wait to see final product on your car... if there is such us thing as final with us.

Not looking like my car will make it, but family and I will be flying out. Get this - will be bringing 2 rental cars (long story), no Camaros available. Sooo rented a convertable Mustang (sinner) and a Dodge Charger..... hope I don't get egged!

Body shop is re-assembling the car. Then it goes back into the spray booth to get more red paint applied to the outside (hood, chin spoiler, trunk spoiler, and blending into doors I believe).

Mike should be done painting red and have most of it re-assembled this week...
Then I'll get to see her!

I will assist with the tape layout (more like blessing the layout) and selecting the white for the new stripes.. Mike has 3 white pearl colors he will have sprayed out on a test board for me to choose from.

I can't wait to get the car back.. hard to believe it's been gone a whole month. I'm having Camaro withdrawals... LOL.

FYI, I had pearl panels in white with white pearl/ with gold pearl/ with orange pearl. Orange & gold was kinda kool, but a little dull ... but the white pearl really stood out! They looked silver from some angles, then turned brilliant shiny white. I'm sure there's numerous combinations. Good luck with the choice.
