Exclamation Need Help!!

I changed my differential fluid yesterday, took the car out for a drive and everything was PERFECT! late afternoon i started driving again but more aggressive (nothing too crazy) and i hear a noise coming from the same place i changed the oil earlier. After that the car goes into ALL gears but when i let off 1st gear i can gear grinding. i looked under the car and i can see the axle twisted maybe broken from the right side going into the diff. Would it just be an axle or has this happened to anyone else? any tips/advice/or help would be good. Thanks in advanced

the stock axles are not very strong you probably broke the CV joint. i would look in to getting some aftermarket geforce axles. they have a lifetime warranty.

Is it possible that it might also be the differential? any signs i can look out for to make sure its not anything else?

if you broke the diff, like in my case the the spider gears fell apart and chewed up the ring gear. it was really obvious. if you are hearing grinding when you let off and the acceleration is smooth im going to say that you broke one of the CV's. and you are getting acceleration from the axle that is intact.

if it is a whine then that would be the ring and pinion getting slowly chewed up.

from what you describe i think you took out the CV on the diff side.
