Advice on winter/ all seasons tires
So I’m new to this so please forgive me.
I just bought a 2018 LS 1LE and with winter approaching in a few months i want to be prepared with what tires I’ll need to buy. After reading a few posts it looks the best long run option is to buy tires and rims for the winter. So I’ll most likely go that route. Can I buy dirt cheap rims? What’s the risk in that? I want decent tires so I won’t be cutting much costs there. I live in Maryland where it some times snows but winter is usually below 40 degrees. With that being said, what’s better all seasons or winter tires? Any tips for a noobie will be appreciated as well! |

I have dedicated Winter and Summer tires for my ZL1 and my son's BRZ.
My Winter tires are Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 in stock sizes...they are fabulous Cold Weather PERFORMANCE tires. These are my 3rd set of Pirelli on my Camaros....Also the Z will see no snow. My Son's car gets Bridgestone Blizzaks in stock sizes. They are better in snow and ice....and I'll drive it in snow since our schools close if they forcast flurries!lol |

I got 18" winter tires and rims Michelin X-Ice XI3.
Rims are "18*8 sport edition A14 Titanium Wheel" told the tire store give me the cheapest you got. tires & rims installation included was about $820.00 didn't have no problems this winter.
