I am starting to believe the rumor that Chevy rated the 2011 v6 for 91 octane fuel and the 2010 Camaro v6 for 87 octane.

Exactly what I wanted to say. The marvelous car that we'd deemed as a gift from the gods barely a year ago all of a sudden isn't enough??? Gimme a break. Everyone knows that the companies don't try to renew interest for a couple of years with the overhaul every four. So what the h*** was everybody expecting?? I was actually suprised they screwed with horsepower so soon! Synergy Green was no suprise as a full time color. It was already being produced and proved to be successful in sales. Same ole song.

Get over it.

Hey GM, how about memory seats? I’m 6’4”, my wife is 5’4” I love the ability to press one button and have everything set to the way I drive after she has driven it.

He'll still take me at the track... He too has an intake, in addition to a tune. Still, it's fun to rag on him a bit to get him riled up!

While I agree with you, its like they had two differnt designers on the mustang. One guy designed the front half and did an outstanding job and then they had Stevie Wonder do the rear. They should of went with the concept rear for a real knock out car.

you hit the nail on the head. It's as if they forgot to finish the rear of the Stang. The front doesn't look bad at all IMO but the rear is another story. To each his/her own I guess.

Could not agree more. Considered the Mustang GT, but everytime I walked around to the backside, I just couldnt take it. Those rear taillights are horrible. Love the front, hate the back. Bought a Camaro. Love all of it!

That's fantastic. So they didn't actually make any changes to the V-6 other than just say it now has 312 HP yet they are calling it a HP increase over last year. What? They could have at least done what other companies do and make up something about tweaking the intake manifold or something.
I hate when car companies do this. The HP rating varies from motor to motor anyway, so OBVIOUSLY some cars may have 312 and others may have 306.
I'm digging the SG SS though. This made my next purchase much more difficult...

The 304 horsepower in the 2010 Camaro was actually a conservative rating on our end,” said Tom Sutter, GM V-6 chief engineer. “But we knew already that this award-winning engine produced at least the amount of power we stated, but now we’ve gone the extra step in certifying the engine for this application and have verified an additional 8 horsepower.”
..now I have to change my stickers again, and what about all those already published literature? Who's in charge of marketing again?

..I'll just find some '327' logos some place. That should cover it..
