Shouldn't you be running faster that 13.94 with a tune? I am running that now without a tune.

One that is uncorrected and two that was in San Antonio, TX. High elevation and bad overall DA. I was happy with it. Besides the only tune that I was running at the time was the original tune for the tranny and AFR correction.

Now if I was at Atco, it would be a completely different story.

You post your timeslip in the V6 1/4 mi list yet?

Just installed mine updated it before i hooked it up. All went well got some warnings sabillink, and rear backup but they went away while it was loading. Running premium and airaid w/insert. Manual car so nothing else. Started the same as always after the tune but only got to run it around the driveway because it's raining.

Just got mine. Updated then went to install. Programmer says CAL not supported, go to internet to update. I did, internet update says CAL not supported at this time. I have a manual trans v6. This sucks....
Called, then emailed tech support...no one there so....

I'm surprised anyone with a manual bought this. It pretty much just changes your shift points on an automatic. Not much else yet.

Thanks for the feedback on that. Nails my choice down to either waiting for HP Tuners, or just going with Vince after I get my headers. I'm glad I didn't impulsively buy the Hypertech, especially since I have a manual transmission.

I haven't really been following this since I already have Trifecta and love it. Curious why some of you guys would go this route over Trifecta? Especially since you can't clear the CEL you get from LT's.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't this only change shift timing and firmness? so for a manual it would not be worth it when you can spend a little more to go with Vince?

Costs half the price, and not everybody has LTs?

Well, you're wrong (in theory, anyway). =) It does have a performance tune aspect to it as well, though I'm sure it's not anywhere near as good as Trifecta.

It's not just a little more to go with Vince, either, though. It's 100% more, if I understand the pricing. ($300 vs. $600?)

All that said, if I had an M6, I wouldn't have purchased it. But I'm very pleased with the results for the price on my A6.

So, you may be wrong in theory. But you're probably right in practice.

Yeah, your right 100%. Hypertech is cheaper, but has less tweaking. It comes down to you get what you pay for.
