Cool

I was watching a show this afternoon called, Muscle Cars, or something like that. They took a 2012 mustaang V6, 3.7L ingine that ford says has 305 horse power. They put a cold air intake on it, do not remeber what brand and a magnflow cat back exhaust. They then used a hypertech tune on it. It gained 14 hps and 10 fpt over the stock dyno. just wonder how much our V6 gained.
I have a cherry bomb cat back, a airaid v2 intake, a ported thottle body and the hyptertech tune. and it all seems to work togeather really well. My butt dyno tells me so.

Wait why do you have to do all those things before reprograming ? Is there a issue with it ?!

Just got an email from Hypertech with a link to this video. It's very informative and describes each feature in good detail.

Since installing the Hypertech tune, my city driving gas mileage has dropped 2-3 mpg. Anyone else have this problem?

I've gained mpg with my mods... Even with driving it hard.

I also gain mpg with my hypertech, have one in my truck too, gain mpg there.
Don't know why you're losing mpg, may need to be reset.

You don't have to select the fuel tune on the programmer.

I was a Beta tester for our V6 Hypertech and it had kinks here and there in the beginning, but Hypertech was VERY responsive and great to deal with. I also had to return my car to the dealer to fix a few things under warranty. One was even with the lights not coming on when it was parked after pressing unlock on my remote like it's supposed to do. I just set it back to stock and they never said anything at all. I'm going to the track tomorrow. Don't know if I'll re-program it but I'm one of the few who is using the regular fuel program for the sounds of it but I can still tell a difference in TQ big time. I also use the 25% shift firmness on the street but I may play with it at the track a bit. I will not be changing any rev or shift points but maybe idle higher.

I'll post my numbers after I come back from the track. Hopefully they are mid to low 14s or better.

I gained about 2MPG in the city and probably more on the highway with my "regular" fuel tune. And I don't have a gentle foot either...

I now have 15,000 miles and I think the motor has loosened up a bit. I started out getting about 17mpg and now I'm getting 21+
