I just tossed my 25 year old son the keys...he had driven the car before the fuse pull....he noticed the difference right away. He broke out in a big grin and said "now THIS is more like it".

I am loving it now.

Removed my fuses for 5 hours, when replaced I felt a big difference in take off and at cruising speeds. The car is no longer sluggish and no hassitation(messed that word up didn't I, oh well ya'll get the point

Have any of you guys who did the fuse pull a few weeks ago notice a change or slowing down as the computer adapts to your driving once more?? According to Fbodfather, the computer adapts to not only fuel quality but your everyday driving habits. Does this mean if you start driving slow around town that it will revert back slowly to what it was...and then have trouble becoming faster again needing another fuse pull??

ATTENTION: Opec hit squad ordered to take out the OP and accomplices of this thread. Reason: thousands of Camaros now getting 25% better fuel milage, ipso facto...profits are going down....again.

25'd the car overnight. Started this morning and rough idle as usual for about 5 seconds then smoothed out. Reset my MPG meter reading 16.7 (normal 16-17.5). Drove around today 100ish miles and now the reading is 21.6mpg. The car runs, idles and shifts up and down much smoother. It also auto-shifts much better, holds the shifts longer. I did a few pulls in different modes, same little wheel spin off of the line but today isn't really a good day to judge power as it is around 110*.

Just drove mine off the lot. Has 21 miles on it. The dealer REFUSED to fill it with 93 octane. I told him that it was no big deal just leave what fuel is in it from the factory and I will fill it at a station across the street. I had about 30 miles on it when I laid into it with all it had and man oh man what a fricken pooch! I kept doing hard acceleration runs then shift neutral it when it hit 90mph. Its got 90miles on it and you can feel it coming around by the minute. It would not even begin to bark the rear tire at 30-40-50miles and even BOGGED the engine from a dead start. The torque management is in "stupid high" mod right now and wont let it shift very firm at all. I hope that gets better than what it is or I will have to do something about it. At about 60miles of (all I can throw at it) acceleration runs to 90mph she started coming into some power. It will spin the tires up to second and the ass end will shimmy around a little now. You can latterly feel it pulling better and better after each acceleration run. Its still sluggish compared to what I know it should do. It feels like it has no more than about 320hp under the hood right now. Its got a ways to go. I will do fuse pull in a couple days and tell you guys how it goes.

After a few days of runs i am certain the fuse pull worked, and it wasn't just psychological. The shifts are smoother, and the increase in acceleration is definitely there. She (1SS) idles under 1,000 rpm however; roughly 800 if i were to guess. Is that normal or too low. It's doesn't shake rattle and roll with the low idle, am just concerned that if it's about right where it should be, or no.

My car has 650 miles on it and I was able to spin/screech the tires from a standstill by stepping on it but not flooring it. That was with TC on and before the fuse pull. Haven't really jumped all over it yet.
I pulled the fuses last night and put them in this morning. Noticed a little rougher idle than usual but she settled down after a minute or so.
What I noticed is that the shifting was better and acceleration is better. I didn't do a timed run so it may just be a placebo effect.
I'll do one tomorrow and see where I'm at.

I pulled mine on Friday. I noticed the car did not hesitate when hitting the gas. Also, the car screeched the tires each time no matter what safety controls were on.

I hope this is a permanent fix and does not go back to the first way. My dealer put in premium so I am not sure my sluggishness was due to this. Maybe low octane from Oshawa?

So, I brought my LS-3 in to the dealer on Monday to have them check the rough idle, hurky jerky hesitations at steady low speeds when cold ( all the time with CAI installed) and overall less than stellar performance, along with a window that won't stay up. They could not duplicate the performance and herky jerkies but fixed the window. When I heard about the 5/20 fuse fix I told the service mgr about it. He basically wrote it off as internet hype and refused to look into it. I requested that the technician check the ECM to see what octane spark table it was running on and he just blew me off. I picked up the car and performed the 5/20 fuse pull myself and guess what....the herky jerkies are gone even with the OTR CAI installed, it idles better, and from the short run with the car this evening the performance seems better! I didn't have much time to play with it so tomorrow I'll put it through the paces. I never really thought the performance was less than it should be until now, it seems more responsive! I'll know more tomorrow.

Dealer makes thousands of dollars on you and cant spring an extra 10 bucks on high test that your car calls for?? I would have had to let em have it-the cheap bitches.

WHAT GAS IS OSHAWA USING????

Holly shit!!! the beast is alive. I Pulled my fuzes last night let the car sit over night. Placed back in and took her for a quick ride. WOW! what a big change in get up and go. It really works, that's all I have to say.

A note to you guys waiting your cars, do not let the dealer put regular unleaded gas in the car, it need high octane. The ECM aparently reads the low octane.
