IPF Supercharger on Order!
My order is officially placed!
KPE and IPF have been so helpful with all my questions, as has Brandon. I'm going for my official baseline dyno tomorrow to see where I'm starting from at my altitude. I'll post up those numbers, and the resulting dyno after the install. I will do my best to give a thorough review for you all once everything is installed. I will also go to the track ASAP after the install to give you those numbers as well. Now, keep in mind that I am at altitude, so my track times won't be as low as those of you at sea level, and my dyno numbers might be lower as well. My best time at the track now is about a 15.75 at a mile high, so I'm hoping to break 14's with the SC. Looking at the race schedule for Bandimere Speedway, here in Colorado, and trying to estimate arrival and installation times, I should be able to enter the Street Wars on July 6. I'll take her sooner if at all possible. Thank you all for all of your information in helping me decide which system was right for me. We are doing the install ourselves, as my husband is a mechanic. I'm opting not to get the warranty, as we can do the repair work if needed, but I don't anticipate any issues. I'm excited at the thought of running similar times to the V8 Camaros on my race team. More to come! I will do my best to keep Team LLT posted.

Very cool. So I'm guessing the SS runs mid 14s there?

Yeah, they're in that range without heavy mods. Much less oxygen up here.

Longmont, eh? I lived in Ft. Collins / Loveland for many years and spent a lot of time with family in Longmont.... maybe after you get supercharged, and if it's ok with you, I'll get in touch when I'm out there visiting family & friends.
Running 15's at a mile high... wow.. I forgot how much power you loose at that altitude; sea level has spoiled me, but I'd love to take my Camaro up to Estes Park... I loved that drive. Congratulations on the SC!! keep us posted!

Yeah, this thin air is brutal on horse power. That's part of why I'm looking for some FI! All of you at or near sea level are so spoiled!

Baseline dyno was 235 HP/216 TQ. Now just trying to be patient while they ship the kit...

I have seen a lot of baseline numbers in the 230ish range. Areal you have the A6 and did the shop turn off the TC before the runs?

Congrats! I get to Bandimere for test and tune nights on Wednesdays. I hope, after warranty, to do something with IPF or RX. Loving that this engine and computer are finally getting figured out!
With Injen long tube and axle back Magnaflow I am running mid to low 15's. Mostly a traction issues with the 20" Pirelli's! I also have the Hypertech tune, but have not run up there with it yet. What shop is doing the work for you? Are they going to tune with Trifecta? |

IPF does not do a Trifecta tune. I think Riki said that she and her husband were going to be doing the installation themselves.
