New from LA
Late greetings to all camro5 members. My name is TheKid13. I've had a 2012 Camaro 1LT RS Victory Red for about 1 1/2. I'm from the LA area and am currently taking technician and mechanic classes. Work done so far on the car goes as follows: ZL1 bumper swap, interior ambient lighting, red license plate lights, nitro fill, and sun strip. I have learned a lot from this forum and seen great ideas. Can't wait to start a car club, open up a shop, go to SEMA, and meet people here. Camaro's rule

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Thank you and yes I have been enjoying my camaro. There is one thing I would like to ask you though. I have been experiencing severe bubbling and wrinkling on my leather trim above the radio. I have a post titled Bubbling/Wrinkling Leather Trim with pictures and more of a description. I would greatly appreciate your insight.

Great to hear about your positive experiences thus far! Regarding the trim bubbling, feel free to send me your VIN in a private message so I can research any recalls or field actions regarding that. Also, if you have not been to a GM dealer for an official diagnosis, I can help schedule and oversee that process in order for our certified technicians can take a look at what's going on. Let me know what's best for you. William R. Chevrolet Customer Care |
