The difference in a 20 lb rider with the same skill can be quite a big difference. My buddie has a 170+ whp zx10 and only can run a 10.1 to my 10.4 on my 125whp bike. He weighs 240 to my 165.
I weighed 220 when I had a 152whp 02 GSXR1000.

My first ever run down the track was a 10.28 @ 128 mph with a 2.6 60ft time.

Your friend can't ride a bike at all.

Yea your talking through your teeth there buddie. His 60 foots are 1.70-1.75 consistant with traps of 138-141. Even my runs my fastest 60 was 1.78, ran 10.46 at 133. I think you should remember harder what you ran.

It's approx a football field, or 1/4 of an aircraft carrier

I will never forget that first run. I had been down the track many many times in my car. I remember laughing so hard at the timeslip because I had a 2.6 second 60ft time and still ran low 10s.

my second run went into the 9s @ 148 mph.

I should clarify my back wasn't stock. And being lowered that helped a lot in the 60ft. Once I got enough seat time on the bike I was able to run consistent 1.5 60ft times.

10.1 is SLOW on a liter bike though.

edit: bike not back. good lord.

I know it's slow, but around here the da is seldom below 2000 foot in the summer. And on top of his weight and stock wheel base it actually a good time. He is usually top three swb at the track.
