Question IS THERE ANY WAY TO CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT?

Just wanted to know if there is any way to close your C5 account. I didn't see where that was possible in the user CP.

Why would you want to close your account? If you don't want to come back to Camaro5 (for whatever reasons you may have), nothing is preventing you from simply not coming back.

Yes, but if I were to leave a site I'd still like the option of being able to close or delete my account too.

I guess I don't understand. When people go to your homepage and see that you haven't been online for months or even years, then they know you don't frequent the forum anymore. I really wouldn't care after that. I'm a member of several forums that I don't even remember my username. But who really cares about that

Maybe he doesn't want the site he is leaving to count him a member (and in reality he is not because he has chosen to leave) when they market to companies for ad services.

Just sayin that would be a viable reason. Not that he is actually doing that for that reason.

Site administrators are typically the only ones who can delete user accounts. But I guess there is a difference if you mean to an account closed but not deleted. Maybe the best term would be "inactive"?

I mean I guess one of us Mods could ban you, but again I don't understand the deleting your account thing.

Just do a bunch of unruly things, cuss some people out and you won't need to delete your account. Someone will do it for you.

But most people don't know about that feature and just PM away.

But I do see where you're coming from. I've used that feature many times.
