ZL1 Versus Challenger Hellcat - MT
Sorry if this is a repost....
http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...r_srt_hellcat/ I call the ZL1 the winner. But the Hellcat is more evil looking.

Go fast, please.

Meh... I'm not impressed with this car. Dodge just threw more horsepower at it and called it a day. I have seen a few videos now where people reviewing the car were not able to come close to the 0-60 times dodge says is possible with street tires. They were unable to crack 5 seconds for 0-60.
The car numbers wise looks good, but I don't see the times being doable. I think given the extra weight of the car that 707 isn't much better (if any) than our 580. |

To me the Zl1 is more menacing looking. Those 305s on the back with the Mad Max wheels and flared rear fenders and great looking exhaust. No self respecting modern muscle car should ever be relegated to 275s on the back.

Hellcat, GT500, both are one trick ponies.

Just made arrangements for the LPE 630 package plus their HX upgrade..100% power all the time where I live..plus MT 20 inch drag radials for the street..should be a match for most anything out there...

If you want a car that handles you don't want a hellcat.
If you want a car that goes fast in a stait line the hellcat is a no brainer IMO if your buying a "new" car. the hellcat misses me a bit as a tophy husband it is mandatory that I have my cake and eat it too. I want a car that goes fast in a strait line and handles well.

Actually the ZL1 lost in that article. I have that magazine. We all know the ZL1 will kill the Hellcat on a road course but the Hellcat was made the for the dragstrip. I dont even know if the Gt500 with its 662hp can run with the Hellcat, I havent seen any numbers on that... |

That depends on your ZL1 and driver.
