I saw my first SS on the road a couple days ago. It was black.
Nice car and I think I prefer the looks of the SS over the Pontiac G8.  Hopefully GM will sell a decent amount of them but I don't see it hitting production number goals. It's a niche car that only attracts a limited amount of people. 95% of people looking for a large Chevy sedan will get the Impala.
