I've been running it and haven't noticed a thing performance wise. I've always ran Shell V-Power in my cars and the plugs were always nice and clean. This Nitro+ is just an new additive package that's supposed to keep your valves cleaner. They just threw the Nitro moniker on there as an advertising gimmick to get more people to try it. My two cents.

hate to break it to you buddy, but it's in your head. just a placebo. might, and that's might, make a difference in a track situation where tenth's of a second count. but in everyday driving you're never going to notice.

Bout time they came up with a different additive, however with the last car I would watch the knock sensor and had the lowest readings with shell. I think chevron has the best package though

Can you feel the internal parts on your car being cleaned? That's all it does.

I absolutely have noticed a benefit. Shell's making more more profit when I buy their gas.

I finally found a nearby station that sells 93 Octane and has a separate hose for each grade of fuel. It's a BP station and it just so happens that the gas they sell is Amoco. I try to always fill up there, simply because I don't want a hose full of 87 octane going into my tank. They advertise some sort of "Invigorate" additive, but the only thing it invigorates is my credit card bill.

Anyone remember the days when you got a free tiger tail for filling up? "Put a tiger in your tank" was the slogan...lol

Ahh... yes, I am older than dirt...lol

All:

I am a fan of Chevron with their "Techron" additive, seems to have good cleaning properties that are proven.

For those of us considered frugal, which is code for cheap, I was at Costco last week and they had a sign on the pump that stated it was "Top Tier Fuel". So I am going to use them every now and again, good 15 cents cheaper there than Chevron.
