Yes.

Not dead anymore. Acting stupid though.

Power steering and engine died on me midway through a turn, limped her over to the side of the road, engine cranked but refused to start. Had her towed home, tried to start again a few hours later, and she started up with some hesitation and a bright orange "Service Engine Soon" light.

Bunch of people are pointing to the fuel filter. Taking her to a dealer tomorrow to have it taken care of.

Nah, I think it's a fuel line issue.

Yep fuel filter, quick fix should be on the frame rail under the driver door. You could do it yourself in about 15 min, I always add 10 min for a beer.

About 90% sure it's the fuel pump now. Won't even start. Waiting on a tow truck.

try putting some gas down the intake, if it runs for more then 20 min its fuel filter, less its the pump.

Had this happen to me, most likely the filter is clogged enough that it will not have the psi needed at the intake to start. I would still change the filter first and see if that fixes it since it most likely hasn't been changed in a long time.

You may be right, but with gold instead of blue metalflake, I'm leaning back toward IBM or Darth Vader Black.

I'm just glad to know we can change our color options after going through workbench when we've seen the color in different lighting. I'm going to order what I know I'll like & if I need to change later, I can.

True that my friend, it is a comfort knowing that we can recind the color pick. Not having seen the GLJ up close and personal may be be a different matter down the road as far as likes are concerned. I wonder if the IBM will have the same look as the original? If they changed anything with the original "formula" I would trust they let us know!

Truck's at the dealer.

The only thing worse than getting towed by a Dodge yesterday and a Ford today is the Kia that I have to drive until she's fixed.

Nah, that's just HIS color.

THE color is whichever one keeps drawing your eye back to it, or in some cases whichever one makes you cringe from the sheer ferocity, like you've just seen Darth Vader for the first time.

I think the thing about white is that it's clean, it gets out of the way of your perception so you spend more attention just appreciating the lines of the car as opposed to the color. That and the black stripes & other black bits make for a 100% contrast.

Just thinkin' out loud.

(edit: in print I mean)

Hey Scarrzz, pops chiming in again<Htron's new name for me..LOL>, here's some old classic song lyrics to go with our color quandry....

Black is black
I want my baby back
It's gray, it's gray
Since she went away, Ooh-Ooh
What can I do
'Cause I-I-I-I, I'm feelin' blue...- Black is black: Los Bravos
