Question, will there be an optional TVS1900 kit available for the SS in the future? I don't need or want to make huge power and would like to save some money.

Like JBsC6 said, a reliable 100 rwhp would make me happy.

One thing I've learned in business is you don't wait for a response...you create a response. Build it and show what it CAN do for the V-6. Impress them with the performance and the customers will follow. If you don't someone else will. I think they call that marketing? There will be unchartered waters for this car. If Ford is looking at an ECO-TECH twin turbo 4 for the Mustang, then it would be natural to do a blower for the V-6.

The one thing I have learned in this business is 1% of the people that said they want it will actually buy it. With 100+K going into development, 1% of 100 is a risky equation. I am pushing the issue.

I dont want to put one in my car right away, I'll probably wait at least 6 months after I get it.

Maybe even longer if this wasnt a first year production car, and people had it in their cars already I wouldnt wait. But as things are I dont want to risk GM having kinks and bugs in this car. and screwing myself over.

Instead of complaining about the price,
I think everyone should be celebrating the fact that the 2010 Camaro has been available for only a matter of DAYS and ALREADY there is a supercharger kit about to be released.

Although I am STILL waiting for my questions to be properly addressed,
I gotta defend the OP when he deserves it.

That's smart! I know this car will have bugs the first year, like any other car, and if you have and F/I on, the dealer will immediately blame the F/I addon as the cause or giving you $hit because it's moded. Although the LS3 is a great engine in Corvette, but with added weight in Camaro, you're putting more stress on engine and rear-end when adding F/I.

+1
I fully agree, we should all be excited that we have this SC already available to us. Just gives us all some more lawns to mow this summer to save up that 7400!

Please let us know how much the unit and other components weigh. I think the position of this supercharger is superior to many others because it is as far back as possible. A buddy of mine put a competitors on his corvette and it put a lot of weight way up forward. I would also be interested to see what this kit does to the balance of the car. I suspect it will be better than most.

Please post weight information when you can.

Thanks

Tom
