I will be adding this eventually, but it has been a while since I had a car with this much power to weight ratio. I will be driving it a little before I go uping that number......bikes are a whole different animal, that's what I am used to.

My opinion....Magna did some initial runs to baseline and told HPE the numbers, and in there quest to garner customers asap, HPE released a somewhat true number to build sales on, could be higher, but won't be less!

So Rick @ Livernois basically lied to everyone...They strictly posted on LS1tech it was stock except Rotofab intake...a cam change is a straight up lie, because no only does it create more power, but it adds $$ to the bottom line...so folks trying to figure how much $$/hp will cost don't get an accurate calculation...if this is true, this is BAD!!! business.

Especially since someone straight up told him, "thats awsome. Id bet if you had a cam in there you'd be making close to 600 hp no?" and he didn't come clean.

Whoa, is it possible I am mistaken? I will double check my statement, Rick is a stand up guy and does not lie about anything. I think I may have mis quoted.

Everyone can relax, a STOCK longblock LS3 will EASILY make 550 to the wheels with boost.
There are Corvette forum members that have boosted their stock longblocks to 700rwhp on boost alone, and that's with the less performing LS2. Those stock engines are still alive after xx,xxx miles, too.
600rwhp seems to be the sweetspot on the street for the Corvettes. I'm sure the Camaro SS will make that on boost alone.

Just make sure you all are having your cars tuned by shops that have a PROVEN track record of tuning forced induction LSx cars.
ECS in NJ is an example of a shop that's been tuning blown LSx cars for 10+ years.

All the Camaro SS is going to need is a blower, fuel, headers, and a custom dyno tune to make all the power street tires can handle.
