The dealership since I'm still under warrenty, they said it was because the throttle controller and charged me 100 dollars because it was caused by a aftermarket modification. Anyone else think that they just screwed me over?
this actually happened to me once, my battery died one day and i got scared. i disconnected the throttle body controller and tried reconnecting after turning the car on. I believe in the instructions it says something about waiting like 10min after the car is shut off to install this? yea i installed it immediately after shutting off the car (i totally forgot) i had service stabilitrak and reduced power and check engine light come on.

i ended up having to wait 10 min or so to reconnect it all and it those messages went away on my dash.

Should've disconnected the controller before you took it to the dealer and when they ask what happened just say

I'm not surprised. The new connector is really tight and really needs to be pushed down. I remember thinking it was in but figured I give it another push and sure enough it went down some more and you could actually fell it like suction in.

So the controller did not fail. Would have been good of you to mention that earlier while we all were wondering if our controller was next.

Honestly I though all along it was user error. Hundreds sold and 1 issue so far likely leads to user error.

I really wish they made the harness work with that white clip being reused.
