Modern day engines are made pretty water safe, as long as you are not spraying high pressure.

I know I should wrap the CAI and fuse box I've heard but even in Adams video he doesn't do the alternator so I wasn't sure. Also any tips of for when you actually use water? I know not to use a power washer and it is recommended to just use a bare hose without the nozzle so that the force doesn't push water anywhere it shouldn't be. That about it?
I wrapped the alternator because that's what I had remembered from someone teaching me previously.

I just covered the air intake, but if you have exposed CAI then you definitely want to cover the filter also.

I'm not sure, they are completely different engines and I don't know what it looks like with no cover on the SS. I would assume you would still be okay with the alternator and intake.

Also! Big thing is to make sure to do this when the engine is COLD. Best is after a night of sitting in the garage.

Looks great! Nice job! Like others have said, 70 degrees is only a dream right now. I wish I could detail mine.
