OK... we had the show today. It was a little disappointing. Chubby Checker came to judge our cars. The weather was not very good but three of CAMARO5's best were there. Red, White and Blue... side by side. We were there to support the adopt a soldier fund raiser they were having. We all have CLOSE connections to the military (retired, spouse & served). ANYWAY... Chubby comes out... photo op, says a few words, said he liked the caddy and goes to look at the cars. He did not even slow down as he past our cars! I was going to ask him to sign our entry signs but he did not even make eye contact with me standing at the front wheel of my car. The real old cars won. One of them was an old green pickup with bad paint!

Nah, he grew up in the 50's and 60's, no wonder he liked the old chevy. You can't stay mad at Chubby Checker.

I didn't write this to bash Chubby! I Posted this so all my CAMARO5 buddies can see our HOT CAMARO'S!!!

Well also itis hard for a non customized newer car to win at car shows, and from what I can see those Camaros were pretty much stock .. so really it was understandable they didn't win...

But they are Beautiful cars!!!

mark is that your car with the Screaming Chicken and Air Assault badge on it? Awesome.

And even as baddass as the the new 5th Gen and Challenger is...its hard to pay attention to them imo opinion around the classic muscle.

Yes it is mine! I had to do something until I could get my stripes painted on! She is stock... but Baby is AWESOME just the way she is! OH YEAH... on a side note... they didn't even look at my signed Lithograph from the Factory!
