Does anyone know if it is possible to get a 2SS with cloth vs leather? I do like the leather they have in the car, but with the extreme weather in my area it just doesn't seem to stay nice all that long. Since many of the 2SS options aren't available in the 1SS that really is not any option. Thank you in advance.

I believe there might be some members on this forum that would swap their cloth for your leather. You could always go to your dealer and see if they can order you cloth 'skins'.

Oh yeah - You could also see if whatever options you're wanting on the 2SS you could get aftermarket/installed on your 1SS. Some can't be done though.

I feel the same way you do. I am about to order a 2ss, but I really wish it did not have leather. Your best bet would be to order the cloth covers and go to an upolstery shop to have them swapped. Keep the originals for later use.

I have a 1SS that was built on Friday and will be here soon. I did not want leather seats plus the 1SS is definetly a money saving move.
With the money I am saving I am having the 4 pack gauges installed,Hurst shifter,and SLP Loudmouth IIs installed. So somethings that are not available on the 1SS can be added later.

That's what I did, easier to get the 1SS and add the things I actually wanted on it. I'm just not a fan of leather or that ambient lighting.

Why not just get cloth seat covers? There are some nice ones.

I have definitely considered that (the 1SS), but all of the other options are exactly what i want (ie the ambient lighting, gauge cluster, usb port). It's going to be stored in the winter so hopefully that helps avoid deterioration, but who knows. Personally I'm not a seat cover kind of person.

I know you said all of the other options, but the ones you listed can be added to your 1SS. Just throwing that out there. There are covers and then there are skins (or at least that is how I think of them). You can always have your leather removed and replaced with cloth. Should you want to do that, how you go about it and what to do with the leather is always your choice.
