Do the factory trunnions provide enough degrees of rotation for that much lift?

Something I was also thinking about. I have been seeing some guys over on the Vette forum running stock rockers on .660+ lifts no problems.
I honestly don't think that was the issue. I think I was just one of the many unlucky people that had the offset rocker arm break. If it were the exhaust rocker arm, I'd be more concerned and would think something is really wrong with my setup.

TSP says their Stage 4 cam has "adequate ptv", so lets hope it didn't kiss a piston.

What's the rest of the setup for that hog of a cam?

No definitely not, my pistons have valve reliefs and I'm running a thicker than stock head gasket. Got the rocker arm and retainer replaced Saturday morning and have a good 100+ miles on it since then. Runs smooth and strong. Drivability isn't bad at all with this cam.

I mis-worded it. Common for the offset rocker to be the one to break.

Good to hear. Sounds like you have things under control and planned for the tight ptv.
