tonneau cover a pain in the neck...

Hey, new 2015 SS owner here, and I love the car, but the tonneau cover
is a design hiccup. It's cumbersome to take on and off to say the least.
Do you leave yours off, or put it on each time you take the top down?
Another note: Mine seems to have been glued incorrectly to the two plastic side
covers...they are partially coming unglued on the round edges...anyone else
have this issue?
Thanks!

No issues with mine. I typically put the top down May-sept and leave it on

If just tooling around town or the backroads I leave it off, if traveling at interstate speeds for a while I put it on. I have been using mine for over 5 years and it still looks new.
Oh I put it on for cruise-ins too.

Only put mine on for shows. Cruising around no problem with it off.

I never took mine out of the bag either. They have been a pain in the neck since they were invented.

IMO it's a minor pain to put on. Mine has the issue with the glue as well. Since I am well past warranty and you can't tell once it's on I have just ignored it. I usually only put it on for cruise nights or shows anyway.

Honestly, it looks like shit without it on and it keeps out dirt and debris. To me, it's worth the 3 minutes it takes to properly put it in. Of course, I'm not taking it on and off every day, as I leave it in most of the summer when the top is down.

You are right, driving without it on in the spring and fall especially you are going to get a lot of leaves and seedlings in your water drainage bag possibly plugging the drain holes and you may end up possibly flooding your interior or trunk. Very important reason.

This is why I use mine as well as it keeps the lose cloth top from being wind beaten while driving at highway speeds.

I use mine as mentioned above to protect the roof while driving and keep debris out of the drainage bag when parked. I have 2 bought one then was given one by the dealership. For those that do not have one and want one at half the price of a new one check this out http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=513253

didn't use mine the first couple of years of ownership, noticed wear marks on cloth almost worn through. Had top replaced under warranty, now use cover all of the time. No more wear marks with cover use.
