Am I reading this poll correctly? If taken literally people wanted blue by a margin of over 2:1 over all other colors combined!
How could GM get it THAT wrong? |

Blue isn't my first choice, but I think Imperial blue should be an option. Many people love the NBM of the 4th gens and I think Imperial blue would be just as popular.

The poll options aren't good. I picked to have blue because I do believe it should be an option and I think it would be a popular choice. However, for me personally blue isn't my first choice.

Maybe GM forgot about how good Lemans and Mulsanne blue looked on a Camaro. I think Aqua blue 1SS with black stripes.

Just a thought here.
See this is what I really don't get. What person in there right mind at the marketing department decided not to offer blue. i am sorry but the day that decision was made, someone had there bowl of "smart puff flakes" for breakfast that morning. Blue in one form or another has always been offered for every major sports car in American history. Now i can agree with what Sharl said that the Aqua blue was not quite befitting of the SS, now that I agree with. But the darker the color the more aggressive and serious the vehicle comes across as, and that is one of the many key features that the SS embodies. You have Black, Cyber Gray, Red Jewel tent coat, Red. These are all serious dominating colors. Blue threw out history has always been a symbol for power and royalty. In corporate America you go into work wearing a blue suit usually navy with a white shirt and red tie, " I.E. Power suit. It will tend to catch peoples attention and it presents a persona about the person that says I mean business don't mess with me. This is not one of those times that you offer the car in blue because every other car manufacturer on the face of the planet does it. you do it because it helps people feel better about them self's and it does affect the way a person carries them self and also as any of you know a car is an extension of the owners personality and who they are. Don't you want the people to arrive in these cars with a smile wider than the state of Tennessee on there face? Don't you want them to feel good about getting the color they want for the car they want, instead of getting the car they want and settling for second best in there own opinion? Ultimately the decision is up to you at GM corp., as to weather you decide to answer the cry of all the enthusiast out there saying that WE WANT OUR BLUE CAMARO SS. It is also up to you as to standing by your original decision to leave it alone. Now considering the unprecedented back lash from hell this has created from the faithful to the new comer, well you get the idea.

I think Chevy is going to save the Blue for a ZL-1 Camaro with 556HP 6.2 Supercharged like the new CTS-V. Kind of like what they did with the ZR-1 Vette. That logo is Blue afterall.
Look at this Blue 4th Gen ZL-1 with stripes and all. http://www.mecumauction.com/auctions...0&entryRow=295

Right! This would be a heck of a way to get people to buy blue, and an even better way for them to market it. The first pics of the ZR-1 Corvette that I saw was blue and they also had charcoal too, both of which look hot. I might opt for a Charcoal SS or just wait it out for the navy/imperial blue.

For GM to hold off offering blue on a car that may never come, that would be crasy. Look at the cry for the color right now. There are people that have said that they will not get the SS with out blue. They are going to the V6 or not at all. If no blue come out prior to the final day to change orders then I will be going with the Cyber Gray and then getting the car painted the blue of my choice, and I dont care if I pay an extera 7-10K. My car is my car, and that is that.

How about this, GM wants to push the V6 so what better way to sway some people to get the color they want and not the motor. If thats so they dont know the real diehard camaro fan. I know it's a 300 hp v6 but theres nothing like a throaty american made V8
