Not to stray off topic, but since we're talking about seating....anyone know if there are any new seat materials in the works? Leather tends to crack and needs a lot of TLC to keep looking nice, and cloth collects large amounts of dust, as well as odors after a while.
Has no one developed a soft foam, or at least a new and improved cover material? It would be nice to see something new like this offered with the new Camaro! |

Not sure exactly what it is...but the premium interiors on the new Vette, and Malibu use Alacantra...The concept convertible uses that stuff too.

The best and easiest way to determine the difference between the V6,RS and SS. Stripe packages! Don't offer one on the V6 and have the option of the racing or hockey sripes for the RS and SS. You could also tag the gas cap like they used to back in the day. One thing that they should offer is the hide away headlights. I've seen an artist rendering in Hot Rod magazine and the look awsome! I hope it becomes as an option or the aftermarket will have one. In my opinon it is the only thing missing.

Good choice of colours... trim etc.
Light reactive glass would be cool. nice clean looking engine bay (not loads of wires/pipes spoiling the view) maybe the option to colour code bits of the engine too. Definitely keep the petrol cap where it is. I agree hideaways would be a good option, save money on stone chipped headlights too. On the high power version i'd like to see a good racing style seat and a good driving position...... plus it would be nice to have an adjustable pedal box, i dare say the steering wheel will be adjustable for rake and reach... as alot of modern cars are now. High quality speaker system.. with a good choice of headunits. Suspension upgrades, power upgrades... all with a nice warranty. |
