Smile Official GM Camaro Launch in Colombia - Hennessey

Yesterday was a very big day for the GM Enthusiasts in Columbia waiting on the Chevrolet Camaro! The 2011 Camaro was officially released yesterday to the public. Also offered to those waiting on the vehicle for purchase, the ability to upgrade the vehicles to Hennessey Performance Packages. Hennessey Performance was excited to work on this combined effort with GM Columbia and also had a 2011 Hennessey HPE650 at the event for viewing and testing. The official importer of GM for Columbia is a Hennessey Dealer for South America.

Vehicle is a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Automatic

- Yank 2800 Torque Converter
- Hennessey Performance Lightweight 3pc Wheels
- 305mm Rear Tire Upgrade

I just noticed this on Jalopnik but missed it here, LOL! They missed the release of CAMARO as the reason for this event, though...

That sometimes happens when you have a High Horsepower version of a vehicle doing massive burnouts huh? In all seriousness, this is a big thing for South America to get the Camaro and enjoy what many of us have for over a year now. More videos ad pictures are to follow as they are released from GM to us.

Does Hennessey have good Camaro sales from these shows in places like Columbia. I am guessing there is lots of money still in Columbia, I would be thinking SUV or truck sales.

The donuts looked like fun.
