Anyone have any good quality DRL suggestions?

I originally purchased the iJDMTOY Super Bright Xenon White lights from Amazon, and when I went to purchase, I only saw good reviews so I thought, hey, great, this will work perfectly.

Well, 6 months later, and both lights are all but shot. One is flickering here and there, and the other is straight up strobe effecting it. At this point, I'm worried I might set off someone with epilepsy while rolling down the street, and I'd just rather not live with the guilt.

So... I ask you all, who has some good recommendations for ones to install that won't, you know, rave it up shortly after installing?

Honestly I just bough a set of Amazon that I liked. They have been in for roughly 4k miles and I haven't noticed an issue with them.

1st and foremost, the knockoffs are $0.50-$1 to manufacture and have a 25%+ fail rate. I would first contact the seller and get them replaced under the standard 1 year warranty.

If not, I recommend contacting the seller Aaron on Amazon, his CREE bulbs have been great for our us. Do not buy anything except for authentic CREE LEDs.

Diode Dynamics, made in USA, three year warranty. Bests bulbs and service I've seen.

I turn mine off during day light hours they last a lot longer. They sure don't help you see any better in day light.

Had to double check as their prices used to be $69+--- they seem inline finally @ $40 and they look like CREE.

Check out Phastek. I got a set from them and they match the stock HID pretty well and have been running very well. I also have it so they stay on when the headlights are on so anytime my car is running so are they. No issues to date.

These are what I bought:

EDIT: Don't forget the promo code welcome5. It will save you 5%.

I got mine from iJDMtoy.com 4 years ago and haven't had any problems. I got the wire harness from Gen5DIY.

P13 for 2010-2013 Chevy Camaro RS (pair)

$40/set retail

Great match with the factory halos, and backed by our 3-year limited warranty and fantastic customer service.

Here's a customer photo with our HP48 P13W installed:

Nice clean, crisp white, no cheap-looking purplish hues

U.S. members receive free-shipping (send us a PM for the code!)

Thanks,
Nick C.

Thanks for replying! I actually checked out your site yesterday based on the earlier suggestion and will probably go here. The light that was strobing it up finally flat out died today, so I might have to move soon out be a police target down the line, hah!

Just a follow-up on this... I ordered the Diode Dynamics last week and just installed on the car last night. They already look a hell of a lot better than the iJDMTOY I got on Amazon, as the color matches that of the halos for a better look when driving around. Not completely ready to give the big ol 2 thumbs up until they've been on for a while without issue due to what I just experienced, but so far so good. Really like the 3 year warranty, as iJDMTOY was completely unwilling to work with anyone despite their crap product.
