How's your interior holding up? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey guys/gals,

Just wondering how the interior of the members' rides are holding up. I am cross shopping cars right now; SS is at the top of the list (of course, coolest car on the road). Today I checked out a used 2010 1LT with 35,000 miles.

The interior looked like it was falling apart. The silver trim around the vents was peeling off, pieces were falling off/fallen off, and the cloth seats were torn in some places.

This could just be because the previous driver trashed the car, but I wanted to see how the interior was holding up w/ people who actually treat their Camaros with care (Camaro5).

So, how are you guys/gals' interiors holding up thus far?

Sounds like he just trashed it.. I got 22k on mine and it's doing wonderful..

17,000 miles and no prblems with the leather interior on my 2SS.

Don't let dogs and food in, and you'll be OK, too.

almost 29,000 with no problems on a 1SS.

Just hit 30,000 today. The only thing I can see wearing is my drivers seat from going in and out. Just the top side and the bottom left of the seat. Everything else looks new.

At around 14,000, my cloth interior on my 1LT still looks brand new. Take care of it and you should have minimal to no problems.

Only have 9k miles but my interior is flawless. Any car with 35k miles and pieces falling off and rips in the seats was abused badly. Run from that car and fast.

2 people sat in the passenger seat of my 1SS 2012 Convert. My 12 year old daughter and my wife. Seat had a separation in the cloth at 169 miles. Needless to say the dealer had to order the bottom cloth for it. Noticed it on day 2. Still not fixed but the part should be in this week. Otherwise with now 900 miles on it I love it.

Almost 7k miles, only issue is with the clip attaching the leather under the seat broke. Under warranty, no prob.....

36k, all in perfectly good shape, but i did put all new interior leather seats and repainted the steering wheel and gauge trim as well as the dash and door panal trim too = p
