Chevy's marketing stinks. Dodge has done an amazing job marketing the Challenger. Dodge official said every special edition Challenger they pushed (Hellcat, Demon, Redeye) resulted in a boost in sales of all models down to V6. You cant pick a magazine up, turn on youtube without seeing something Dodge related. No matter what anyone says effective marketing works.

+1 Could not agree more! Even non car people have heard about a "Hellcat" No one has heard about a ZL1 or even ZR1 in my experience.

I concur and feel the Gen 5 owners will agree, as you stated this is not intended to offend any Gen 6 owners.I'm sure some Gen 5 owners moved up to the Gen 6. I just feel that GM needs to work on the body style for GEN 7, and also put the C7 ZR1 LT5, 755 hp engine in the ZL1.

Tried to explain that at the beginning of the tread but it went off in a tangent of wishful dreaming about poor marketing and everyone knows what a Hellcat is. It's going to be a service company period, P1 Large Gas trucks, P2 EV vehicles, P3 Services transport, Mary could car less about selling Camaro's because the next generation doesn't want them.


Fact is if you live in a major city and your kids are under 5, they may grow up not learning how to drive a car..
