still amazed!

ever since I vented both valve covers ive had positively no oil consumption or loss. didn't affect my tune nothing. motor can finally breath like the good general intended. smell no oil in vents no oil smell under the hood when I raise it when its still hot. fantastic. you turbo and blower guys do it all the time don't you? vent somewhere don't you to avoid crankcase back pressure? dropping gears and disappear. the oldman...

Interesting. What did you use to vent. I've wanted to but wasn't sure about it. And it got kinda pricy/confusing trying to catch can one side and adapting the other.

I have mine vented on my catch can. Bought a motion raceworks one and ran both my valve covers to it. Blocked off the port on the valley cover and intake manifold. Works great. Nothing in the can yet but only been like 3k miles.

I went to advanced auto parts and got the little spectre cone type breathers. the driver side I used a piece of 3/8 hose to splice into a 3/8 plastic 90 I got from o'reillys . it was a plastic 90 they have in a tray kit they have with various fittings I plugged the 90 directly into the cone breather and used screw type hose clamps to secure it. passenger side I drilled a 5/16 hole in the oil cap and tappedin a brass straight barb fitting with threads on one end screwed it into the cap it tapped its own threads and I just put the cone breather on the end of the barb used a screw type hose clamp to secure it . hope this helps Im an old guy and don't know how to post pictures . I gotta learn.

Why not just leave the oil cap alone and put the breather on the passenger side valve cover exit for PCV?

I did it that way to vent both valve covers and to keep the clean side catch can intact which is probably useless for I have never found any oil in it.
