I did not think this was common but this thread has brought out more than a few cases.

So I ended up trying out some pedders springs in the rear.

For my application, the fit and finish seems to be much better with these springs.

What's the comparison of performance, ride, stance?

They look great todd! Glad you finally have a solution. They will be much tighter once you lower the car to the ground. Keep us posted how they handle and stay seated once you put some miles on them.

Will do.

So far, I would say the ride quality is about the same.

But keep in mind, my front springs are Pfadt and my rear springs are Pedders.

I have another issue now though, that I need to figure out.

When I am in a long, right hand, sweeping turn, and you can feel some G's, there is a strange rapping/tapping noise coming from the right hand rear side. It's only in a right hand turn. The problem was there also when I still had the Pfadt springs installed. I'm scratching my head on this one. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

As far as ride quality goes, so far it seems to be about the same as the Pfadt springs. I will let you know how the springs are seated and if the ride quality changes at all.

There is a TSB out for a tick in the rear. It has something to do with the hub if I remember correctly. The moderator Tag Ur It would be able to direct you to the TSB based on his personal experience.

Figured out what the ticking noise was. It was the e-brake cables rubbing on the inner wheel weights. Secured the cables like this:

That is strange. Do you think they were rubbing because you have aftermarket rims? I need to check mine although my rims are stock.

Yea, it's definitely due to the wider wheels. My rear wheels are 2 inches wider than stock. And it only happened in turns when the suspension is compressed. You can also see on the inner edge of the wheel, a slight wear mark all the way around the circumference. Definitely never hurts to check and see if your stockers are rubbing though. You never know.

Just another idea for you. When I put my 18's on the back I pull the plastic keeper from the bracket on the control arm and slide it down then run the zip ties around the control arm and the keeper. This prevents the cable from being chafed by the tie.
